Fuel Consumption During Typical Warm-Up

    Surprisingly that appears to be true, the same article quotes the European size large as being almost exactly the US size very large. One of the few food related issues where it's that way round!

    The source of my figure was said to be the USDA too, but clearly it was wrong, and 56 ml is more like it for a European large. So up to three eggs...

    i don't have google anything, but ken aka ukr2, may have set something up in the beginning, i'm not sure.

    It's not possible for an engine running cold for 1 minute three times (3 cold minutes) to increase pollution over running the engine cold for three minutes three times (9 cold minutes).

    I'm not following why you think this is relevant or why you are confident it is true.

    Just had a warmup cycle during my commute due to the maximum distance without ICE being reached (somewhere between 100-200km IIRC).

    This is the result:

    Ambient temperature was 19 degrees Celsius, city only with 60 KPHs max, ventilation and climate control off, ECO on.

    The warmup cycle consumed 65ml.
