Finally got a chance to install, B&G Springs by B&G Suspension. Didn't get to take much pics as i was in a hurry to install them.

Front, Front wipers had to be removed, plastic cowling, and metal tray underneath it. THEN you can get to the 3 top bolts on top of the strut tower. Sway bar bolt and lower 2 bolts that hold the strut and steering knuckle and 10mm for the brake lines, I rented a strut spring compressor from O'Reilly's for FREE (i.e. tool loaner program)

Rear, top tray and lower tray need to be removed, both panels need to be moved over so you can access the top of the 2 bolts of the strut, 1 is found on the lower section of the car, Lower shock mount is easy as it's 1 bolt.

Luckily i had a air compressor and air tools to make the job easy. No special tools besides the strut compressor was needed.

    BEFORE/AFTER
    25.75" Driverside front / 24.50"
    26" Passenger front / 24.75"
    25.25" rears / 24.75"

My car was in a accident and it was replaced with an aftermarket fender so my measurements might be off i.e. Driver/Passenger front. Also, i measured from the top of the wheel well to the ground.

    Driving Impression:

I'm used to Eibach, H&R's, Ohlins, Full coilovers etc in my other race cars, but this is just a DAILY DRIVER, Ride is slightly stiffer but not that much, I re-used the stock TOURING shocks that have 90K on them, none of them were leaking and seemed to rebound as normal as i pushed them in and watch them come out.

Got an alignment today and got perfect stock tolerances for being lowered. I'm a racer at heart so this car obviously, didn't get any camber/toe/in/out.

Handling is greatly improved over stock, it doesn't see nose dive under hard braking and can handle the on/off ramps at a faster speed. Speed bumps aren't a problem but if you have the stock lower air dam you might want to change your approach angle.

EV to MOTOR it seems to react and transition smoother, Some say that that you MIGHT gain extra MPG since it's lowered, reduced drag underneath, etc. Maybe it's a MYTH but i'll keep an eye out and monitor my MPG closer. I'll update if needed.

    I purchased this from: http://shop.tapautoparts.com/bg_suspension/bg_s2_sport_springs/921076/i-274062.aspx

They shipped these directly from B&G Suspension as they are located in San Diego, AS AM I. No shipping fees and shipped FAST & NO Sales Tax as the company i ordered from is in Las Vegas.

I'm sticking with these STOCK 16" TOURING wheels and have NO plans on changing them. So, if you have the same setup, what would you recommend for wheel spacers? I Don't want to be considered HELLA FLUSH and def. don't want to ROLL the fenders. Let me know your thoughts on a SPACER? 5mm, 10mm, etc. If you are happy with them please post up a link of where you purchased from.

    Thanks for looking!!

On my 2008 Silver Prius, after lowering my car, I really wanted a more even flush look and not tucked. I ended up with 15mm front and 25mm rear. Really made the car look more balanced. Originally had 8mm on the front and it wasn't enough so went with the 15mm. Also went from a 30mm in the rear to a 25mm because I started to rub.

On my 2007 Grey Prius, with the 19x7.5 Wheels & 215/35ZR19 tires, I didn't need the spacers and I still don't rub. :)

Thanks 'JustDidit' for your input and for your help on other stuff.

UPDATE: So i have about 500+ miles on the car so far and really enjoy the difference it made, It's fun to drive in the turns, although... not a race car but it's fun to carry more speed into the turns with minimal body roll. It's my wife's car so I had to teach her how to enter driveways without scrapin' the air dam. It's not slammed or near it but gives it a good stance. I do feel that i ride the rails in the Costco car wash. Lol .I believe that these springs B&G Springs are Linear rate compared to a progressive rated spring so feel the road (bumps) I'd rather have a controlled ride rather than a spongy boat feel.

I have the G7 Stiffener and noticed a difference compared to the stocker. I also noticed that the car feels like it has a slight understeer. Would the Cusco front brace help? Don't know if i would go as far as putting a front sway bar but since i'm this far i might as well. Please give me your thoughts.

BEFORE/AFTER/After 500+ Miles with the springs settled in.
    25.75" Driverside front / 24.50" / 24.25"
    26" Passenger front / 24.75" / 24.25
    25.25" rears / 24.75" / 24.50"

Overall, i'm satisfied and would recommend these springs to anyone.

    I do still have them - currently don't need them. I have a 8mm, 15mm, 25mm and 30mm spacers.

Relay flasher is a breeze, send me an PM, we can install it real quick.

Ask Justdidit, replace the front sway bar with an OEM 2006 Toyota corolla/matrix sway bar and the rear sway bar with a Progress sway bar. These mods are a must to anyone who loves to corner flat! I vote that you should replace the front and rear sway bars! :)

do the rear first. very easy if you have a breaker bar or impact gun. takes about 5 minutes working slowly. the front is a little harder, but not too bad especially if you have a friend to help.

Other forums for Prius other than PC, not really. You can learn quite a bit tho just lurking around the other PC forums other than just the Gen2 Modifications forum, but for modifications to the Gen2, not much else out there.

there is "prius online", which is full of south park smug prius owners. I got my avatar from that forum, just for posting about modding the intake. if you haven't seen the hybrid south park episode, you must check it out. too funny.

    looking good there!

i agree with 69shovelhead. do the rear sway bar first. upgrading with a larger front sway bar will just add more understeer.
