That's not cell leakage, more likely a drink that spilled

Any pack that sat for 10 months would not do well being installed without a proper balance charge.

Most replacement packs would require that you install them in a reasonable amount of time after delivered. !0 months is faaaarrr beyond a reasonable amount of time.

    lexforme,
Yes, it looks like some kind of leakage, but if it was there before the reman pack was installed its kind of a moot point.

Not the most ideal spot to spill a drink haha. Definitely a moot point, was just curious.

One more question, when the owner attempted the first install, he lost the drain tube. Can I make one? I'm not sure if the next battery will come with one. Does someone have a pic of where it drains to?

The battery is out and we are waiting for the next battery.

    XT1080 ?

Battery has been installed and the car has been driven 125+ miles without issue so far. I also reset the codes for the brake controller and they have not reappeared.

One other thing I've noticed is the a/c isn't very cold and the main engine fan (or the a/c condenser fan) runs just about the whole time the a/c is on. I'm guessing that puts an extra load on the HV battery. I'll consult some of the a/c threads and see where that leads. Thanks for all the input!

    SCH-I545 ?
