    Rick,
Could you provide more information on what you're doing. Specifically:
    • Did you buy these seats from a wrecking yard (price range would be nice too)?
    • How did you know that they would fit into your car (and how would a Prius owner like me know which seats to get?)
    • Did the bolt holes fit perfectly or did you have to make an adapter?
    • Where did you find all the info on how to do this?
    Thanks in advance...

Update on my re-upholstered drivers seat mentioned above: It has really worked out well: it totally does the job ...I no longer feel every bump in the road. The upholsterer knew what he was doing. The stock upholstery on a brand new Prius really is deplorable (he showed me some of the innards); glad I did this.

I fixed mine. I traded it in on a new 2014 Avalon Hybrid XLE Touring. That worked.

I bought the Lexus Ct 200h seats from
    sfv41901
I'm not sure what was done to the seats before I got them for them to fit, my understanding is they are plug and play except for some wiring and if you have JBL premium auido then there is also some brackets to keep the seat from scraping on top of the stock amp bracket.

Great to know I'm not the only one that hates these freaking seats. I'm just going to replace the damn things, and to hell with in-seat airbags. I have a pair of expired Sparco Evo II seats from my race car (not race legal anymore, but will make for a damn nice street seat). Wedge Engineering makes seat bases for the car so it'll be an easy swap. As far as the airbag light, I'll just have to figure out what resistance is needed to keep the light off. Nothing that should be too hard to figure out with a multimeter. For reference on the seat, look at the image below. I would love to put the Racero Profi XL seat I have in the race car, but I'm not going to just go out and buy another pair of seats when I have a pair just sitting around. I just need to get another set of side mounts and rails.

Well, not like I'm going to be serious tracking it, just going for some fun.

Does anyone know if a 2012 Prius V seat will fit (without mod, or very basic mod) into a 2008? That seat is way improved!!

I'd like to know too. I did try a Camry seat and it was very close to bolting it, but not quite.

    Hey PriusRick! (and others)
Could you give us some detailed instructions on how to get those CT200h seats into a Prius.

Little bit of history: I own a Gen II Prius and I would love to get those seats in there. I plan to keep my Prius forever till it dies (which I read with good maintenance can be anywhere upto a half-million miles!), so I want to upgrade its seats and do some other comfort upgrades (sound deadening and maybe some safety features) that would keep me going. The other daily driver of this vehicle is very short and has chronic back pain after a horrible car accident, and we didn't quite appreciate how uncomfortable the current Prius seats would turn out for her. If I can't replace those seats I may be forced to sell my Prius.

Where did you acquire them? (and if you don't mind revealing the price that would be great!) How did you install them? What did you do about the airbag and power seats all that?
A detailed post would be much appreciated!! And I didn't quite understand what you meant by the JBLaudio, since my car has that option as well. Is this something a shop can do? Because I'm not quite that handy.

If any of you guys know of any other comfortable OEM power seats from other cars that can be picked up from a salvage yard and fitted onto a Gen II Prius with low-to-moderate difficulty, without sacrificing the airbag, please let me know.
