Hi there I'm a 2004 Prius 2g level 9 owner used to hang out here voyering and learning a LOOOOONG time ago. Got news my '04 should start thinking about becoming a used model for someone else. So started looking.

I've always wanted my baby to be partial EV. And despite my wife's love of the Prius v I think I have her convinced we should get the PiP. Here in KC it is difficult to get a PiP, but I have two dealers basically offering me the same car from another location in our region. A PiP Basic with all weather mats and cargo tray. Right at MSRP of $31,000.

Since the dealer has to go get the car they don't want to negotiate. Out of 8 dealers in the metro these are the only two who even offered to check out whether they could get me one. Both have been great helping me out!

Would I be off my rocker to pay the $31k? FWIW this makes it the same MSRP as the Prius v model 5 my spouse wants. Both dealers will give me the Prius v 5 for about $29K though.

Slfgnr8 - Your wife has self-generated superior intelligence on this one. The Prius v(vee) Level 5 is a "Caddy In A Kimono." Rock-Paper-Scissors... $29K for Limousine-esque spaciousness and humongous cargo carrying volume beats $31K for Pip Basic with lesser goodies, driver-passenger space, and hauling volume.

Bisco - Is that $28K and 0% financing Out-The-Door? Tax, Title & Tag can eat your lunch... and some of your dinner... in California.

no. you'd have to contact dianne for that info. i'm not sure if registering it in mo. would require any cali payments.
