Can the beep tone for the display be turned off

    The sound of the beep tone when you change screens on the display is very upsetting to my dog. Is there a way to turn it off or lower it's volume? I have a 2005 Prius.

    yes, just go into the settings screen and push sound off.

    Great thanks bisco, I'll try it again. I couldn't find anything that indicated sound control for the screen the last time I tried. My dog is about 15 years old and can't really hear anything but my high pitched whistle. So when she hears the display beep she gets really nervous

    i turned it off in my '08, i'm the same age in human years and all i ever hear is a high pitched whistle.:cool: i hope i remembered correctly.
