I'm so bummed-the cover plate on the front bumper where the tow hooks go is missing. It's an ugly looking hole! I don't know what happened but it's gone. I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow for them to take pics and call Toyota to see if it's covered under warranty. Otherwise, it's about $50 plus has to be painted to match my blizzard pearl. Sheesh, if these come off so easily at least the part should be ready to buy. Anyone else lose a cover???

The dealer is going to replace the cover at no charge. Just have to wait for the part to be painted and sent.

This just happened on my Prius C, just 7 weeks after purchase. I think it fell off. Anyone else losing these? Anyone else getting lost parts covered under warranty?

    $50!?

Those tow points seem a poor engineering choice. Simpler to put sort of strong points on the front underside, slightly recessed so they they're not the first thing to hit a curb.

The covers are hard to remove without getting chewed up, and care is not at the fore when you're getting dragged out of a ditch or whatever.
