I'm looking to purchase a used prius. I found an '06 with 112k mi listed for $10,000 at a used car dealer. It looks very nice.
2006 Toyota Prius Package 3 Hatchback For Sale In Knoxville Chattanooga Knoxville IMPORT AUTO SALES
    # I plugged the VIN into the Toyota's owners site and found that it needs a new aux batter, hybrid battery, and cat converter. That service record was at 112355 mi on 07/30/14. The car is listed for sale with 112600 mi on it.

Is it possible that the dealer is unaware of this issue? I would think that if the hybrid battery and cat converter had been replaced that would be listed in the ad. Someone is going to buy this car and regret it.

There's a member planning to sell his 06 with 93k miles for $8500 or less.

If you are curious you could take the car for a test drive and see if any warning lights appear after a reasonably long drive (10 miles minimum).
