I am stoked to hear about the buffer 1.5 gallons. I was confused when I filled up at 3/4 empty and was only able to put in like 7 gallons. Now it makes sense.

    The best

I did my first fill up yesterday with 3 bars left. I was a little gun shy from some of the comments I'd read. I got about 316.9 miles at 47.9 mpg. This was based on the dealer filling the car up with gas and me resetting the trip meter after I'd already left the dealer. I will push it a little more next time. By the way the digital readout said something like 53.3 mpg.
    Congratulations on the new car!

Thanks for the threads. I just youtubed it liked crazy. Who knew if have to completely change my driving behaviors. But slower is safer, and cheaper. And I know it's kinda horrible but I've begun to enjoy watching other people flip out when I drive differently. There is no law that says I can't drive the PriusC way and until they pay my gas, the can't conplain. But they sure get mad sometimes. (I try not to let them see me laughing)

Remember you don't have to change your driving behaviour - but you do get the most out of the car by adapting.
