Yes, it was lease car. Therefore, must get fix with OEM parts only. Otherwise, it will cost me at the end of the lease. When terminate the contract and dealer inspect the car find out it is not OEM.

I'd rather own my own vehicle.

I don't know why you sound like get very upset about OEM parts.

Anyway, as I mention in the post it is a LEASE car. To avoid it cost me at the end. I am responsible it condition and if repair must use original parts. It is really not an optional thing.

Sure, if you can afford one. Not everyone can afford it. LEASE is just a cheap alternative.

I don't want to sound snarky, but if you can't afford to buy, you certainly can't afford to lease.
I've always found it twice as expensive to lease than to own, in the long-run.

Apologies for reopening the old "leasing vs. owning" can o' worms.

It is really depend on what kind of deal you got from dealer. I find that you really like to jump to your own conclusion with opinion. In many case LEASE car have it own advantage.

I have to agree with you- the cheapest SOB at my job leases... he gets a new vehicle every three years... so there must be something to that!

I wouldn't argue that it looks cheaper in the short-term, but in my experience, you gain over half of it back by driving it once it's paid for, and then some more when you sell it used. Depends a lot on how well you take care of your vehicle.

It's a personal preference; I've driven over 4 million miles, and most of my vehicles make it to over 200k. If I were hard on vehicles, and newness was high on my priority list, leasing might be the right option for me.
