Hey guys/gals, bought me a 2005 prius with 78,000mi about a month ago. I had a 2001 Nissan Xterra 5sp. absolutely loved that car, but it's issues were starting to become more noticable. I patiently waited for something to come into the dealership where I work to trade for. I wanted a car not an suv or truck, but I didn't want to lose all the space. Finally, after about a year of waiting, this came in and I just couldn't bring myself to let it go. One owner (Old lady) that had passed away. The dealership bought it from the estate sale. After TTL and my trade, I got the prius for just $3500. I think it was a great deal. The car is CLEAN with only a couple dings. The headlights were hazey and the rear spoiler's clear coat is peeling. I took care of the headlights, but I want to fix the spoiler. I'm now waiting for a black vehicle to go to the body shop so I can have them paint it black for me. I just like the look of the Gen III prii with the black spoilers. I plan on swapping wheels with a Gen III we have on the lot for the time being and buying some GST Prius 17" wheels at a later date. I've already changed all the interior lights to LEDs as well as some reverse light projector LED bulbs and tail light LED bulbs. I took the radio I had in the Xterra and put it in the prius with a 68ohm resistor and I put my 8" sub in the back. I wanted more bass but not so much that the car next to me can feel it. This 8" is perfect with the remote knob only quarter to half way up.

I went from 15mpg in the Xterra to 40+ in the prius. I couldn't be happier.
