I am a student of mechanical engineering and currently I am working on a project related to Toyota Prius (2nd generation) exhaust system. For this purpose I would like to know the specifications of the exhaust system which includes the exhaust pipe, catalytic converter and muffler. I would like to know their model numbers, design details, dimensions and CAD model. I would be very grateful if anyone can help me in this regard.

I don't have the specs but I don't think the 2G Prius exhaust system will be of any particular interest because there is nothing unique about it. If you want an interesting project you should study either the Classic Prius exhaust system which has a hydrocarbon absorption chamber to reduce exhaust emissions during a cold start, or the 3G Prius which has an exhaust heat recycling system to help the engine warm up faster.

Either way you go, I would Google a site like Walker Exhaust, etc and pull as much information from there as you can. Then visit a local parts store for whatever you can't glean from the websites or their customer service. Other interesting modern exhausts might be from diesels with their urea injection systems to reduce tail pipe emissions.
