Well still waiting for the car wash they are sticking to there guns about the signs. So Toyota said €986 to replace it. I went to a crash repair shop and the guy checked the damage and said easy fix, €150. so just waiting for an appointment and Getting it done for €150.

You said for tyres get LRR 205/55/16 whats LRR. and I was thinking of Michelin Energy Saver + - 205/55 R16 91H B/A/70 - All Season Tyre from Amazon.co.uk

    I would appreciate your thoughts

    Kind regards
    Patrick

LRR is an abbreviation for low rolling resistance. The theory being the lower the rolling resistance of a tyre, the less energy required to push the car along and therefore the less fuel used by the vehicle overall.

Each tyre brand generally uses their own trademark to signify LRR e. g. ECO, Energy Saver, etc.

Using the EU tyre labelling you are looking for the first letter (fuel efficiency) to be high as possible preferably A, and in concert the second letter (wet grip) to be also high as possible, preferably A also.

As noted in other posts, the EU labelling system is limited as it seems the manufacturers themselves assign the rating. Having said that it is still useful. There can be variance when comparing tyres by different manufacturers in that one manufacturer's "B" might actually be better than another manufacturer's "A", probably due to a difference in interpreting the testing criteria. It is important to also check the user reviews, preferably by people in your own country to get a feel for how a particular tyre does in real life.
