Hello I have a 2007 Prius with 110000 miles on it and i have had an issue with the dash not coming on when the car is started. This has happened 3 times this year. I would start the car like normal everything else comes on and it is drivable but nothing is displayed where the speedometer should be. Sometimes when this happens it wont turn off by hitting the power button but it will allow me to just pull out the key and it shuts off then. these last two times it took around 5 minutes of just leaving it alone and the display comes back on when I start it up. I checked the 12v battery and everything seems to be fine. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this.
P.S. Sorry if this has been asked a thousand times before i am still new to the forum. Thanks

Bring it to the dealer, there's an extended warranty on this problem. They'll give you a new one.

when you say the 12 volt is fine, do you mean you ran a battery of tests on it, and it meets or exceeds all specifications? is it original?
