I was originally leaning towards a Prius V, but since this will be my daily commuter the MPGs were more important than the extra space...

I've been looking at Threes and Fours with the $2000 rebate going on, but was wondering if there is anything new I might be missing by not going with a 2015? There are a few within reach, but if there isn't much difference I may opt for the deals on the 2014s.

One year, that's the largest difference.

One bit we were looking at was the IIHS crash ratings for the Prius. 2014 Prius made in Dec. 2014 made the crash rating with some slight revisions to hardware. I do not know anything about the 2015....and highly doubt there are any changes other than the "persona" offering.

Don't you mean December 2013? December 2014 is three months away. And, they will be making the 2015's by then.

For info on the 2015 models go to any dealer. They've been selling them for over two weeks!

I hope I made the right decision. We just went to three dealers over the few weeks and drove 2014 and 2015 models. I looked all over them, and I couldn't tell any difference except the 2015 II came with a back up camera that was missing on the 2014. With all the discounts from Truecar and factory incentives, the 2014 was almost $4000 less! We found a 2014 III with some dealer extras that we didn't want to pay for (LoJack, tinted windows). The dealer really wanted to sell the last 2014 'cause he had 2015's on the lot and more coming in daily. He threw in the dealer installs for free. We've had the car a week and love it.

My local dealer said 2015's won't be out till January, 2015.

They are being advertized in California today. Of interest was the backup camera on a Two model. The 2015 Two was advertized at $1500 off sticker price.

That dealer must have a lot of 14's left on his lot! (or a really dumb salesman)

The 2015 Prius Persona has directional signals in the side view mirrors.
The are also blue LED courtesy lights under the dash.

I bought a 2015 Prius 4 today. It will replace my 2010 Prius 4 which has about 93,000 miles. The price for the 2015 was about the same as the 2014. Interest rate is 0.9% for 60 months.

Barcelona red with the grey interior. I picked it up today and I am in love! The 2 options that it came with are the alloy wheel locks and the bottom door molding which is real cool. It is chrome colored and has "hybrid" at the end. The navigation voice and screen are improved from the 2010. I can preset more than 40 radio stations vs 12. Most of the other differences are minor. I have the solar roof package like I had on the 2010.

    congrats on your 15 purchase

We purchased a 15 persona with the softex seats
there are a few differences, but none as for major changes.

Any dealer that says the 15s are not out yet, has to get rid of 14
We went to one, said they didnt have any 15s, so went to another dealer that was honest.
Walked away with two new cars. 2015 Persona, 2014 Prius C
Let the first dealer know, and then they said, we do have a 2015.....I said "you should told me before, now it is too late"

Dont trust the dealer, but be sure to buy what you want...not what they want to sell.
