For the people that have took the spoiler off, could someone leave it off or would water get in?

Does anyone know what part number the teal clips are? I've been able to find all of the other parts for the spoiler online but I can't find those teal clips in any of the diagrams!

You'll have a few bolt holes on the horizontal exposed panel that will let some water in. The rear window seals should be OK, but I'd supplement them with waterproof tape as "flashing" to direct water away from those edges. See photo in the OP.

When I hit the garage door and rip my spoiler those devil clips was torn off from the spoiler.I guess the hatch was bent too. Just dont know if it was bent inward or outward. I there a way or picture maybe to find out how the hatch is suppose to look like before installing the spoiler? I tried installing it back but it seems like the spoiler doesn't fit properly. I want to know which part went inward or outward before I start pounding the hatch. I don't want to spend atleast $800 to replace the spoiler and shocks and repaint because of my stupidity. So I'm trying to do it myself. Thanks for any help!

Several years later... Today it was my turn. I hate auto garage doors. Fortunately though it doesn't seem like it's broken any mounts (have to totally remove to be sure) though it wobbles as per above on the sponge. I haven't been able to totally remove the spoiler but what I want to know if there is any double sided tape to keep the back end of the spoiler in place?

Ok. No takers. Anyway, it's a lumpy area to put down double sided tape. I had thought of using the 3M zip locks (like Velcro but better) but I don't think there's enough clearance for it. Anyway, here's a better photo out there of what the boot looks like without the spoiler.

The minor wobbles it will be.
