Is this normal like others have mentioned about the rear bumper gaps? But what about the "not flush" part by the upper sections of the tires?

The car is parked on the streets since I got the car last month. Could someone had backed into it?

I did not hit a curb or anything.

But I did loosen 2 botls under the hood for the hid ground wires.

Yes, I got it new and it's a 2014 prius 3. It bothers me when I look it from the side. Honeymoon is not yet over :(

i know what you mean. when did you first notice it? hard to believe there was an impact without dents or scuff marks.

I notice it when I was washing my car 2 days ago. Could those 2 botls I had loosen caused the damage?

What did the dealer tell you when you took it in and asked them to fix the body seams under warranty?

So ur saying is the body seam? It's under warranty? I will definitely call them if that's the case.

I have no idea if the body parts are covered by warranty. I know that the first place you need to start with a new car problem is the dealer.

It looks fine to me, my car has a way bigger gap from 5.5 years of age. Wish mine was that tight....

Interesting to note the number of posters here that have found gaps in the sections of their Prius. I guess I got a good one, but to be honest I didn't think the interior of the car was that great. It was, in some ways, kind of cheap. And Consumer Reports, which touts many aspects of a Prius, has consistently deducted points for poor fit and finish. So it should be no surprise. Toyota, while selling you a marvel of high tech automotive engineering, is also being pretty cheap elsewhere to make it affordable. Hey, when I close the driver's door (no, not slamming it, just closing it) it sounds like a tin can. That's the trade-off I see in having bought a Prius. As long as it gives me great gas mileage, and holds up over the years mechanically, I'll be content.
