My insurance company is asking for the following information but I can't find the answers in any of the Toyota manuals or online. Can anyone help? We have a 2010 Prius IV with solar roof/nav system. Thanks.

    Alarm with battery backup
    Alarm without battery backup
Any anti-theft system that arms automatically when key removed
    VIN etched on windows
Ignition cut-off device that you activate
    Locking device for hood
    Vehicle Tracking system

The fob is an immobilization system, so would fulfill the third item. If you're a post-Sep 09 production, then you should have SOSconnect and that may satisfy the last if you register and pay. I believe the rest would all be aftermarket.

Except for the aftermarket items (per Buzzhead), your insurance company should already have the other information.

Yup, the insurance company has all the information. I handed the form back to them and told THEM to fill it out. Just tell them what aftermarket stuff you have, if any. BTW none is necessary. They can take your Prius with a flatbed as it sits from the factory and same no matter what aftermarket stuff you add, including the "tracking system" which is easily defeated. Nobody bothers last I checked as the car isn't worth the risk/cost.
