I read all your sentences, including the one sentence you said the girl waited several seconds for you to let her out. Several seconds and you didn't let her out?????? Of course you having social issues and being somewhat autistic can't figure out how to give way and let the girl out. Her calling you a "stupid nerd" says a lot about who you are! But I forgive you, I know special people and you can't always get through to them.

Our roads and freeways will never move if everybody followed just the posted signs and nobody gave way.

Depends on local rules. Where I live and IIRC most places in California won't send police unless there is an injury. Most accidents on freeways will get the Highway patrol to respond.

There seems to be a lot more drivers to "bully" their way onto roads. and many people seem to have forgotten how to merge. IE get up to speed and then move over into a space. But this also involves cooperation of the folks in the right lane to either change lanes or ease on the gas to help the space open up for the merging car.

when traffic is stop/go and well below the speed limit (rush hour) its common to use the zipper method. every other car.

Hopefully TH will think about if he had allowed the other driver to merge, and been 20 seconds late to his destination. he' d not be having to deal with another insurance company, and the time he will be wasting droping off cars,. picking up a rental, and waiting on the side of the road for the CHP....

Not feeding. But a lot of people, at least around the dc area suck at merging. It's like they forget about the gas pedal.

 

It ain't just around D.C. and as you stated above it takes a minimum of effort to raise your foot off the gas so that someone may merge with traffic.

But what drama could a Troll generate in forums like this without tall tales?
