I use the same floor-pump as do for the tyres on my bike, plus a digital gauge. 44(front) 42 (rear)

I have a Craftsman cordless inflator that runs off the lithium ion batteries I use for my drill. I bought a well reviewed gauge off Amazon to use as the gauge on the Craftsman is useless.

I have found the same, the gauge on a tire inflator is worthless. Best to get a good digital gauge like Accutire.

Just as a FYI,, the 2 top rated tire pressure gauges by ''Consumer Reports'' is the $10--$11 ''Accutire'' ones,,, I just added one to my order of shower heads, as mine is old now. --------- [ the elcheapo ''Siroflex'' shower heads are the hands down best this 70 yo man has ever encountered ]

I've had this air compressor for 3.5 years and its still works great. I would recommend getting one of the clip on cigarette lighter adapters shown on the Amazon page, as the pump will blow 15A fuses pretty easily. I just pop the hood and clip it to the jump points. I use the built in gauge, hopefully its accurate. ;)

I just received a Campbell Hausfeld M6000 tire inflation gun. It's similar to Accutire. I plugged it and it deflated my tire further. Does it have to be plugged into an air source?

I checked my tyres over this past weekend, and a kind neighbour lent me an electric compressor, and even though it was a nice friendly gesture, the wretched thing struggled to get the pressure higher than 40psi. It was far quicker to use my Park-Tool floor-pump for my bike, and this time I set the pressures to 46psi(F) and 44psi (R).

As mentioned in other threads, I've started usig a small, portable air-compressor, but its not wise to run it through the 12V accessory socket (it might blow the fuse(s)), so I run mine from a small 12V gel-cell (see pic), or from a socket which clips directly to the charge-points under the bonnet.

OK, campers, I've just spent nearly an hour trying to upload a picture, but each time it gets as far as selecting the file, but there's no button to actually do the download!!! @Danny, something seems to be broken!!!

I just reach in the hatch, grab the air hose, and air up the tires. :)

I've seen some sweeter ones, but I guess I'll just keep using this till it implodes:

Same here, ancient Silca pump with Schrader pump head, rebuilt valve, and new leather seal. Good to go.
