Revived my 2002 Prius battery.....

If it was an Enginer kit, it would have been an orphan kit from a company that is now out of business.
There is a reason they are out of business: reliability of components.
So when a part broke it would be nearly impossible to replace.

I know installers who have mountains of broken parts they would be willing to sell you.

 

Yep, they are out of business. But, for the price it would be interesting to buy and play with it. My initial reactions to kits like these is that they're made as much as possible with off the shelf parts. That means that parts should be readily available for the next few years. The catch is that you'd have to know a little about electronics. I don't have a problem with that....

 

They are not off the shelf parts. Hardest to find is the 48v to 280v 5000w converter. Unless you know of a good source?

I'd be willing to part with a non-working kit for the right price.

 

What's the right price?
