I paid $22,858 out the door for my 4. The only options I didn't get were the 16" wheels and the moonroof. But I've been finding my deal to be on the best end of the spectrum.

Nalley Toyota in Roswell. I never even negotiated with them. I sent out emails to every dealer w/in a 50 mile radius and they responded with that deal... I was like... um... duh.

I am looking to buy a base model Prius 1 in the SF East Bay and was quoted $19,475 plus tax and license. Any advice on what other people are getting them for in the Bay Area? It is 9% tax where I live so the out the door cost was quoted as $21,519.

I know there is room for negotiation but am wondering what is a reasonable price to be firm on. If I knew it was possible to get out the door for under $20,000, that would make the decision easier...

    Thanks!

For reference, I got my PC2 for 18,989 + Tax. So I'd say a PC1 should be able to be negotiated down to 17,xxx....

You should absolutely be under $20k on a C1...

Live in Kentucky bought in Kansas. Shipping was cheap but so was a 1 way flight so I opted for the latter. They also gave me 60 months at 0% hence going to Kansas for the car. Local dealer would match price but not financing.

When I was looking around the East Bay for a Prius Plug-in earlier this year, I used CarWoo. I received three quotes which were lower than prices given from sales people while visiting the dealerships. It's really easy to try.

You were right! Purchased for $17,712 plus 9% tax and $229 for licensing. OTD was $19,552.17.

Thanks again everyone! My MPG is now higher than my age again :)

I live in So. Cal and just got my first Prius C 2 for 19,240 out the door. I feel I made a really great buy, and after seeing my screen at 71 MPG for my 27 mile drive to work this morning I couldn't be happier.

I own a 2007 Prius and love it... except I need a smaller car for tight parking spaces in San Francisco. So I test drove a Prius C yesterday.
I liked it more than I thought I would.. sure it's not luxurious but I'm not looking to show off and really love the mileage and the SF Toyota Service Center on Geary St. as they do quick turnarounds on tune-ups while you wait in their lovely, light filled waiting area with all the free coffee, tea, hot chocolate anyone could want. Leaving my car for a day just for a tune-up is hard for me to do... so my question is where's the glove box on the C?
I saw an open self in front of the passenger seat. Is there an after market fix for this? Or am I missing something? I intend on buying a C 3... but test drove the base model, so maybe a closed glove box is available in other models. Seems like a weird thing for Toyota to leave out. Thanks!

My C Three has a full size glove box below the open shelf.

They have both. An open shelf that will fit an ipad or a mp3 player to connect to the ports in said shelf and then a glove box under it.

So basically.. a loaded Prius c Four with SofTex & Entune or a base Prius Liftback Two.[/QUOTE]

I purchased a fully loaded 2014 Prius-C Model 4 with leather and moonroof for $24k out the door in California, just FYI to add to your info.

Just picked up 2015 prius c model 4. Good time to buy while gas is cheap. Mine stickers for 26300. That included the floor mats, paint protection package, tinted windows and wheel locks. I offered 23,000 + tax and they didn't even counter offer. I guess i should have offered less. Only have 120 miles on it but i like everything except the shifter.

Installed cruise control this morning... pretty easy.
