Going away for a month. How to leave my Prius?

    I'm going out of the country for about a month. I was wondering if I can just leave the Prius like regular car. Any advice/ suggestion?

    i do, but it's never more than 5 years old and the 12 volt has never been run down. that's the only thing to be concerned about. it's small and weak, and if it's older or has been run down from leaving a light on etc., you may want to get a battery tender.

    Can I just disconnect the battery and leave it like that?

    Pointless.
    IF your battery is healthy and it is fully charged when you leave, it should be fine.
    If it is NOT healthy or is low on charge, disconnecting it won't help anything.

    A small automatic tender-type charger can be had for about $35.
    Connecting one of them is good, if you can.
    Having a small charger is good in general.
