    I don't have a home link mirror. I think my installer went to my 12 volt lighter/usb. He did it way easier than the posts here. He did not even open up the A pillar. He took the weather strip molding of off the driver side and somehow routed to 12 volt plug.

    I think I got it from Itech deals online but I'm sure you can find them on ebay. It takes up 4 triple AAA batteries. I don't think it comes in black. The housing is plastic. Should be able to plasti-dip. Good luck.
