A basic question, and I think I already know the answer.

I noticed the Prius Two allows for multiple entries on the list of enabled BT items. Does only one attach at a time (meaning you can link several and have them listed, but only one will be "connected" at any given time) or can you have more than one connected.

I have two cell phones, and it would be nice if BOTH could be on BT so I can answer an incoming call from either one while driving.

I have a 2014 Prius Two, and only one device can be connected at one time. It always remembers the last one, so if we want to switch we have to manually go into the bluetooth settings on the touchscreen display and change to the other device. Incidentally my wife and I each have smartphones, one android and one iphone.

Yeah it can only pair with one device at a time for each of the bluetooth functions (handsfree calling and BT streaming audio). You can have two different devices for the two functions (i.e. one phone for calls, the other phone for music) but not both for calls or both for music.

New user, please advise if I should ask this elsewhere ...

I have successfully paired my Android phone and my iPad to my 2015 Prius 3. I want to use the phone for calls and the iPad for music. When I set the options to do so, this works. However, after I shut the car down, the next time I get in the car with both devices, it tries to use the iPad for both calls and music. How do I get the car to remember my option selections?

I doubt you'll have any success at this. It's not very intelligent at selecting which device to use. I wish mine would pair with my phone when I'm driving, and my wife and her phone aren't in the car - unfortunately, it still usually needs me to select my phone instead of hers. She then presumably has the same problem in reverse...

Your best option might be to connect the iPad via USB instead, and not use Bluetooth for music, so you don't have to set it up each time you drive.

Since the BT has no "priority" settings, the problem with setting it up with more than one device is that one is likely going to be given priority. Be it based on which first initiates connection or whether it's based on which was first paired with the system, I don't know.

The virtue of setting it up with more than one device is that separate drivers can use it without having to set it up each time...unless more than one of them is in the car at the same time...then you have to pick which one to connect.

What if both phones ring at the same time? How can BT know which phone to answer first? What if you want to make a phone call? Which phone should it use to make the call? Also, which phone to display the contact list?
