    Buzzkill :D

I dont always rely on the back up camera, and it seems like the sensors would be a good supplement. Plus, its winter time and I need projects to keep myself out of trouble, lol

I'm interested in feeding more camera inputs into my backup screen. I have a camera mounted over the front-bumper and another one under the passenger mirror, and they work fine with the aux inputs, but I'd rather have them come on-screen directly when I switch them on. I wouldn't mind being able to turn on the backup camera when I'm driving, to keep an eye on things back there sometimes.

I have a rough idea which wires to tap into on the head unit, but I'd rather use a wiring harness with the right rectifiers wired-in to prevent back-feeding if required. I'm not confident that I have enough information to begin such a project. Has anyone done something similar? I'm aware of some more elaborate projects using video-switching boards and such, but I want to stick to simple wiring.
