Has anyone modified rearview mirror? Obstructed view when turning/looking forward center.

When making right turns - my field of vision is poor by the rear view mirror. I'm only 6 foot, but I need to duck or move my body towards the door to get unobstructed view.

I hope that someone has had and found a work around for this problem. Maybe moving rear view mirror up or finding a smaller one perhaps. It's unfortunate.

If you turn the rearview mirro upside down, you get a less obstructed view out the front. Unfortunately, due to the change in angle, it makes the view through the back worse....

Thank you. I'll see if that helps.

I have a 2010 prius, basic model. I was able to rotate the rear view mirror upside down and then push it up higher so that it is almost at the ceiling which solved my issue of it being right in my line of sight. Yay! It worked brilliantly for me.

Thank you very much for this smart tip: solved the same problem in my 2014 Prius C too!

Hey Brian C. you can solve this problem with a lift bracket:
