I happened to see this listing on Ebay: Toyota Prius Plug in Hatchback 4 Door | eBay
The listing claims to have changed the OEM HV battery from 4.4kw to 10 kw.
Does anyone know if this actually works? I called the lister, he said he used part of a volt pack, retaining the liquid cooling & the luggage space remains as stock. He must have relocated the charger & done a good bit of metal fab. The lister claims to have used the original BMS and made no software changes & it runs but he hasn't done real testing. FWIW the volt pack is 45 AH, stock is 21AH so EV range should be a bit better than doubled. But I recall that when PLUG-IN SUPPLY tried simply paralleling added battery capacity the PIP's computer(s) simply ignored the added capacity resulting in no EV range gain.

He's probably trying to sell it before the explosion happens.
