    At 55k it's time to start shopping for replacement tires for my 2012 C and I am wondering what everyone has found to be the best choice for a comfortable riding quality tire that doesn't kill my fuel efficiency? Something that handles the bumps in the road with a little more comfort would be nice!
    Thanks,
    Steve

    Mine came with el400 Bridgestone Turamza. I only got about 35000 miles out of them, but I corner fast and the roads are not the best.

    Depends on your budget. Walmart has a good selection of tires. I just bought Douglas xtra track for my prius v, and can't tell the difference in the factory tires and these. Tire was 55 bucks

    Michelins are the way to go. The difference in the ride is amazing. I may have lost 1/2 a mile/hr consumption, but it is definitely worth it!

    I replaced the OEM Turanza EL400 tires on my 2014 MY Prius C4 with a set of Continental True Contact LRR tires in a 185-65R-15 size. Both the ride and noise are improved. The speedo error is about 2%. It is way to early to know if the MPG was affected.

    got 4 tires replaced two days ago.

    just finished first 240 miles round trip. 75mph highway 44mpg 38 psi

    old OEM tire = about 45-47 38 psi

    it is normal to have less when the tire is new. really feel the different than OEM tire. this one is softer and a bit less road noise on highway.

    Yokohama AVID Ascend (Grand Touring All-Season)
    UTQG=800 A B, 44PSI, 12/32, 18LBS, 866, $91 from ebay no Tax CA order.

    after 240 miles round trip, the tire is more smooth on the surface and got 60mph 10 miles city drive today. not bad for winter fuel and cold start.

    will post more feedback after 5000 miles.
