I just bought a prius C 2014. We traded in our Corolla on it. I think we got a good deal. it was a Prius C 2, 2014 new with 70 miles on it for 19800 out the door. I say good deal because as we shopped one of the other local dealers said they could not match that price and opted out of the running. They then gave us 5700 on our 09 corolla with 89k on it stick shift. Its in excellent condition but sticks are a hard sell. I put a hitch on our Corolla and it worked well, it is a curt. I found the curt hitch for 109 shipped for the 14 prius C. Is there any modification to install it? I can not seem to find any good videos on it.

Did you also find the recommendation in the user's manual that states you should NOT pull anything with your C ???

I hope whatever you intend to attach is pretty small and light.

Well I ordered the Curt hitch for the c for 109 delivered. Don't need any wiring for what I am going to use it for. I know it will carry my two bikes and cargo carrier without any problem. I had a Nissan versa with 1.6 that pulled an 8foot trailer with my Dyna on it and I never felt it on the back, so I know the C will pull my bike rack. BTW, I bet dollars to dognuts that Toyota would not say you can not put on a strap on bike rack, so using a hitch bike rack is absolutely no difference except you don't Fup your paint. My cargo carrier is aluminum and I carry a cooler and a couple of other light things when traveling, if the C can not carry that it is not worth the air to blow it up. Too many people run around scared of their own shadow when it comes to mechanical things.

IIRC, the book says not to pull anything. I do not believe it mentions anything about what you propose to do......except that it would count against the total gross vehicle load.
