looks like a hitch and small trailer would be nice to have despite Toyota's warning not to tow anything.

most weigh I've had was a complete chevy 348 W big block engine dis-assembled, with 2 extra intake manifolds. still got 45mpg.

I did not check it at the end of the trip but the gauge on the dash was fluctuating between 25 and 50 but hanging on to 25 most of the time.

Several hundred pounds of laminate flooring.

Also, a trunk (with the rear seats folded down) full of firewood, stacked about 2/3rds high.

Also had a 5 foot church pew in it, with the trunk door fully closed.

"The unladen weight is 1792 lbs, and maximum gross weight is 2420 lbs."
I saw the max tow hitch was around 2000lbs online so far. Have you ever pulled this trailer with it at it's max weight of 2400? I'm thinking about a trailmanor aluminum popup trailer which is about 2700lbs for easy driving only.. any chance our 2013 Prius V with 16" wheels can handle it? Thanks.

I always have tanks of nitrogen inside my vehicle it’s part of my job it’s free and available easily.
I still want to do the spring upgrade that I see another Prius chat member found springs with a heavier rate from other vehicles that fit right into the saddles of the struts.
My next future upgrade modification is to weld a full lumber rack attached to the front frame support member at the front bumper to the rear bumper support member to the frame just like you see on large pick up trucks. What got me thinking about that was an old man in my neighborhood who has one a 69 VW beetle he’s been driving around with a full front bumper to rear bumper lumber rack like that for 30 years.

Not sure of the total weight, but with grocery delivery, this was pretty common. This particular shipment was delivered to a medical clinic.

Hey that's me. The 4WD Matrix springs are working great. The most I have hauled is about 3000 lbs split between inside the car and a trailer.
