Hey folks just wondering where you are putting your cell phones in the v's. Has anyone installed a holder on the dash?

In a Pro-Clip on the A-pillar, to the left of the steering wheel.

When I am driving, my cell phone is turned off and in my pocket.

This holder came with vent-clips which sort of ½worked, but the suction-cup (in the A-window) and the flexi-arm worked far better!

My tracfone LGL41C Verizon android cell phone running 4.4 Kitcat is in my breast pocket, turned on and connected via Bluetooth to my 2012 prius v w Adv. Tech. Pkg. Calls always worked very well, but this is the first tracfone with full text messaging functionality. My daughter loves to press the read button for incoming texts and have the car read in that sexy/funny female voice.

Mine's in my pocket where I can't fiddle with it, although it is turned on and paired with the car.

I have mine mounted to the seat bolt on a gooseneck mount from Arkon ($29.95 from Amazon). I love it. With proper installment, it doesn't hit my legs and it's just below the shift lever, level with my hand when I'm using the arm rest. It's out of the way but handy when I need it.

"Mine's in my pocket where I can't fiddle with it, although it is turned on and paired with the car."

So much virtue signalling. Some people have to use their phones while driving for business. This mount is excellent for Uber drivers. 20180531_232407.jpg

We have a CD slot mount with a magnetic pad. It ships with metal pads and works fantastic with the pads attached to the inside of our phone cases.

When mounted this way it is easy to use the phone like a 'garmin' or other such GPS unit.

    Something like this :

I have a MacAlly Car CD Slot Phone Holder, and it works well. Easy to install and remove; solid; doesn't rattle.

Here is what I use. I have two of these, one for use in my own car, and another which I use in my part-time job as a courier driver. It has worked perfectly so far, no problems:

20180812_102225.jpg 20180812_102212.jpg 20180812_102247.jpg I made this from a piece of metal strap and a magnet phone mount. it slips perfectly into the slot under the left driver vent! slips in and out and no damage to dash. Also able to place low enough so that it doesn't block the vent. 20180812_102225.jpg 20180812_102212.jpg 20180812_102247.jpg
