What about home desktop computers? I'm running Windows7. OTOH, just the thought of Windows8 makes me feel a little ill. Think they've finally lost it.

Still, seems more-and-more people migrated to laptops, then "pads" and phones. ;(

    • 'Android' is Linux
    • 'Apple' is Unix
    • 'Linux' is POSIX compatible, GNU-Unix
    • QNX is Unix
As for the web, the heavy infrastructure is just about all Linux and BSD Unix.
'Windows' is about as relevant as 'Flash,' unless your interests are administrative or video games.

    ^^ to read PriusChat, yes.
Scientific research or heavy iron internet -- it is all Unix or one of its variants.

E.g, OS use for super computers:

I have no problems with Win 8, but then I don't bother with the Apps screen or page, I still use the same Desktop I've always used. I think the Apps screen they show in ads makes people think Win 8 is completely different than previous versions and that's just not true. They're trying to make you think it's like a tablet, but the old Desktop is still very much there.

FWIW, I migrated back to a laptop from 2 tablets. While the tablets were fine, the apps just can't do what full programs can.

Man don't spray Lysol or anything else in the car vents all thats going to do is stink the car up. Does nothing. The dealer maintenance is under the car the under dash ac evap box drip hose is used to inject microbial cleaner back up that hose and it fills the e box and cleans the e box coils and the drip tube. Comes right back out as liquid. I try to do my car once a year. Its a very good thing to do once a year as most modern cars now have strict recirc and if you use that all the time the e box is constantly wet and mold will eventually grow. The Prius especially traps alot of water in that box as I notice the following morning when I pull away it leaves a trail of ac condensation down the driveway from the box.

Your dealer may sell the 2 can kit with the special hose for $25 and there's a pretty good cheaper alternative with the special hose called Kool It on Amazon.com. Its $15 plus shipping. This is not a Prius thing all cars can use this cleaner.

Don't remember the poster that found it but thank you as my dealer stopped selling those cans to the public. Bastards.
It makes the car smell real nice and clean.

My dealer charges $100 for this service but easy DIY if you have the car jacked up to change the oil or trans fluid. Just attach the hose...hold it attached and push the button on the can. Cant mess it up. I

I recommend you get this done once a year.

Um not really its very easy to find. Its under the car think directly under the glovebox
And its about 2 inches long. Can't miss it.
The only problem is u have to get the front of the car up quite high to get to it.
Trans fluid change time is an excellent time to do it.

That you should stick with what you know. Wrenches, for example.
