Hi everyone. Please let me know which tires you are using for the highest gas mileage. I'll give them a try when I have to replace my tires. Thanks very much. Drive safe my friends.

there may not be anything better than the oem's, mpg wise, but the michelin energy saver a/s should be equal and quieter, better ride and longevity.

running in mpg contests the skinner the tire and the higher the tire pressures yielded highest mpg, over 120 mpg over tricky routing.
For the prissy, one of the Low Rolling Resistance tires in a 165/50x17 tire at 48 psig will yield the better mpg when the wheels are 5" or 4.5
' rims and as light as poxssible, about 12 to 13 lb as I recall. The tire above is close to the OEM and lighter so the engine works a lot less to move.
Needless to say, those aren't autocross tires so don't expect to carve corners. if contesting shave the treads to 1/8".

OP, is this for a Prius c? What level? Tire size?

If it's 175/65R15 size, the LRR champion would be Michelin Energy Saver A/S.

    i agree
I agree, with data. The customer who tri4ed them consistently got 50+ mpg and with his hipo tires got 42-46 and he doesn't try for high mpg. When he switched bad for performance I asked him he wanted to sell his but no, thats what he'll mount when he sells. His Mich's just gather dust now.
