I had a 2005 Prius. A friend of mine crashed it. And Ive been stuck with my second car my 2010 Mazda 3. But I'm longing for another Prius. So does anyone know of any incentives or rebates going on for Prius's that would help with a trade in? And how small is the Prius C? I'm 6'2 and Ive always had small cars but I don't want too small. And is the space in the Prius C adequate for the hatchback part of it? Lets say for example is it big enough for a wheel chair?

You should go to a dealer and test the car for fitment yourself. Hard to know from forum answers

+1, get to a dealership, have a sit in all the contenders, test drive. My opinion, the prius and prius c are two very different cars. Coming from prius, I found the Prius c interior a definite "shift", to put it gently.

If you are looking for a gen II, you should go to autobeyours.com and check out the rebuilt prii. You can get a great car there with a warranty.

I would say the same thing others are saying. Go to your nearest Toyota dealer and look at all of the Pri that are available today.

    Full Size Prius
    Prius Plug In
    Prius V
    Prius C

Four flavors to choose from with various model's of each flavor.

Too much for any one person to give a fair answer to a question like yours. Everyone is different, so your choice will be different from other's here on the board. IMO, I think you will have it easier with the bigger V or full size rather than the C when it comes down to the wheelchair. Have one myself I load from time to time.

Don't let other's drive your car. I did that too. That is how my new Ford Elite got crashed when I was young and dumb. Now I am old and dumber :)

    Peace,
    Ron (dorunron)

And, of course, if you are flexible on color and options, this is a good time of year to get a reasonable deal on a 2014 model.

c is too small for a wheelchair and etc., in your area, they are practically giving the lift backs away. i would look for a '14 as well, great time to buy with the cheep gases.

I'm 6'6" and did not fit in the C at all. My knees were up against the dash and my head was cocked sideways against the roof. So I wound up getting a regular Prius instead.

The LA Times has more than one dealer advertising Brand New $25,000 Prius for $21,000
There is a lot of competition at SoCal Toyota Dealerships.
The Prius C doesn't get better mileage than the regular Prius.
    Smaller Engine and Smaller Battery.

Advice #1: Don't buy at the stealership.
    Advice #2: Don't trade in a vehicle.
Advice #3: Research the fair value of the vehicle and be willing to walk away if that price isn't met.
Advice #4: Definitely don't go to the stealership and play their "4-square" game. You will get screwed.
Advice #5: Don't accept the first offer your friend's insurance offers to pay you for the vehicle. Do your own research in finding comps, factoring in taxes, registration, and all expenses that would be required to replace the vehicle. Refuse anything less than the median value your research reveals as the replacement cost.
Advice #6: A 2010 Mazda 3 is a very nice car; just keep driving that. Don't be in a hurry to have a monthly car payment.
Advice #7: Shop for auto financing. Credit unions such as Penfed have rates as low as 2%.

What I can say is, I had a 2009 Prius before and now I have a 2012 Prius v FIVE. I just love this car! Its awesome! Lots of space, leather all over, heated seats, etc. And beside that, it's my favorite color! And I gives me 41mpg
