I'm unable to find any diagram telling me how to connect wires that power motors in the mirror assembly. There are four wires: two red wires, a brown wire, and a lavender wire. Can anyone advise? Many thanks.

JJ, Thanks for the info. It is appreciated. It looks as though the violet (lavender) wire is for the vertical and the yellow wire (which I thought was brown) is for the horizontal. However, with my limited ability to comprehend the diagram, I cannot decipher which of the wiring portals on the unit is for the vertical movement and which is for the horizontal. Also I don't know what to do with the two red wires. If I assume that because I have two red wires, one red goes into each portal. So, if I plug in one red and the violet wire into one of the portals and then activate the motor, I'd find out if the one I powered was vertical or horizontal. I don't relish doing electrical things in a trial-by-error mode. Thanks again.
