    Yup, price differences is another. US also gets LKA, no one else in the world gets that. The rest of the world has an option of the Tech Package with the solar panel roof, the US doesn't.

    Indeed the price differences are almost criminal. What's LKA? I thought you guys could get the solar roof?

    The solar roof is available in the USA but not with the tech pack. You can have one or the other, not both.

    Hi all,

    I've added an Excel spreadsheet version of this page as it's easier for me to update it offline and then upload it. You can choose the MY by selecting the appropriate tabs/sheet. The "What's New" shows what was introduced to the 3rd Generation Prius over the 2nd Generation. I've used Comment bubbles to insert what's included in the packages. Hopefully it's more compact and easier to get information at a glance than scrolling through a long post. So far, I've added Canada and US (and the UK for 2009-2011).

    You wouldn't happen to know how all of those rental/fleet Prius Ones that are now showing up on used lots were "de-contented" compared to Twos, do you?

    The Prius I is missing the following items compared to the II (2010/2011 model years used roman numerals. It was switched to English words for 2012 after the launch of the Prius v so has not to confuse with the Prius V or Prius Five)

    • SKS
    • EV Mode
    • Touch Tracer
    • Cruise Control
    • Rear Wiper
    • 4-Speaker Audio (vs. 6-Speaker on the II)
    • Heated Mirrors
    • Rear Seat Heater Ducts,
    • Foldable Rear Headrests
    • Tonneau Cover
    • Underbody aerodynamic panels (IIRC, it's the rear plastic skirt and a front underbody panel)

    It may or may not have a rear armrest w/ cupholders but I can't remember.
