I'm having quite the hard time deciding between these two cars..
I live over in Michigan and I'm currently being offered:
23,850 for the Honda Civic Hybrid
    23,798
    for the Prius Three 2015
    These are all before taxes.
Am I getting a good deal on any of these to make me want to choose one over the other?
Are there any features of one car that make it much better than the other?

Let me know what you guys think, thanks in advance!

The Prius will beat the HCH hands down on mpg. Honda's hybrids are not as advanced as Toyota's. Additionally, you will be amazed at how much stuff you can carry in a Prius.

What about the price for the Prius? Am I getting good bang for my buck?

Yeah, that sounds normal. I don't really know about pricing that much.

If you go to toyota.com $25,765 is the MSRP for a Prius Three.

Does the Civic Hybrid still take trunk space for the battery?

^ Takes little or no space, if sim to 2006+, 2nd gen. But rear seat back doesn't flip down: big setback if you're used to Prius cargo capacity.

We had an 06, wouldn't touch it, for at least another generation. Flakey battery, and stonewalling from Honda corporation.

Price for the Prius is OK. Truecar.com is estimating around $150 less for Detroit, MI area. Regionally, if you were in California, it would be around $1500 less.

Can you provide specific details on how the HCH is better than the prius?

Hey skaler! I'm in Michigan too (Harrison twp), where are you?

I'd go for the prius hands down. I test drove the civic hybrid and the prius has more power and room. I ended up with the prius in the end and I don't regret one day! (y)

Hey thanks for the reply! I'm near ann arbor and would drive up near Dearborn since they have better deals. I'm definitely gonna get the Prius now due to the fact it has more room and better MPG. Now just have to figure out if the price is good enough or should I keep haggling down. ..

The Civic hybrid will be slower than the Prius. Not a good thing.
Honda will say 'all is well' since they started using Li Ion hybrid battery just a few years ago, but we've seen charts of VERY high failure rates even as recent as 2010 Civic hybrids.

one plus for honda, their takata airbags go off spontaneously, and the president of honda just stepped down due to his poor handling of the recalls. so you've got a new press coming in.
