    Hello Everyone.
I have a Prius gen 3 equipped with fog lights from new. My question is how do i change the light bulb? My question sounds simple but I tried to lift my car with a jack, and take out the plastic protection plate with screwdriver under the Fog Lights and take out the bulb with my hands, no luck.. i changed my normal beam lights lot of times, but this seems tricky for me.
Any advice to do it easier thanks?

Are you taking out the plastic panel under the bumper?

Thanks for your advice, Yes its that plastic cover i take out. And before i tried to rotate the bulb but it feel like it was stuck actually both of them and they have never been changed in 4 and half years. I will try again tomorrow and see if i can take the bulb out, else there must be a way to take the whole fog light assembly out?

Ok sorry I misunderstood. I know in the past trying to turn bulbs for removal they can be stubborn. It's bayonet-mount style I think. Usually doubly hard because you can hardly get your hand on it. Dare I say gently tap it, to break friction? Maybe a small shot of silicon would help, as long as you can keep it controlled, just on the bayonet threads.

Yes your right. I will try to apply something like silicon or a bit oil to make it easier and more force to it with my hand so i hope it helps. But its a bid tight since i cant lift my car more than 10 cm up until the lifter begins to tilt dangerously, i am trying to avoid my dealer since i have bad experience from them.

    Thanks for your advice :)

The bulbs are the same as the lowbeam headlights (H11), and you rotate them about a quarter turn counter clockwise to remove them.

They are probably a little stuck, since they haven't been moved for years. Just grab the base of the bulb and rotate it firmly counter clockwise, it will "break" free.
