Prius Owners in Central Virginia -- Show Off Your EV This Saturday!

    The weather will be chilly this Saturday morning (Feb. 21), but car enthusiasts in metro Richmond will be heading to The Shoppes at Innsbrook for Cars and Coffee Richmond. Drive Electric RVA is calling on local Tesla owners to represent electric vehicles at this bi-weekly gathering -- imagine a line of EVs next to the Lamborghinis and Porsches!

    Since space at Cars and Coffee is available on a first-come, first-serve basis, our group will start assembling at 7:30 AM at the Starbucks in Parkside Marketplace, which is diagonally across from The Shoppes at Innsbrook. Once everyone gets properly caffeinated and warmed up, we'll drive to Cars & Coffee together. The event is scheduled for 8-10 AM, but you can stay until your extremities get frozen :)

    Charles I'd be curious to hear how EV owners deal with the hefty car taxes in VA, especially NoVA. Usually when someone tells me they rode somebody's Tesla, I say: "I bet the owner does not live in NoVA" and so far I am always correct but 2 or 3 cars is not a good statistics sampling. I feel we need to reform the car tax but need some data.

    On your web page, which album is the music from? I have Viljans Öga and Hybris, but can't remember hearing this melody.

    It's a pity you all are plug-in people, otherwise I'd be glad to join one of those meets sometime :)
