Randomly the audio will switch from FM to bluetooth on my iPhone. This would not be a big deal EXCEPT that it often does this just as I'm backing up & interferes with my backup camera. I mean, even if I switch to the radio my backup camera no longer displays unless I move it to drive & then back to reverse. I've disconnected it for music, multiple times this week alone, and yet it continues. Sometimes it is good for weeks, other times it happens multiple times in a week. I need the bluetooth for the phone for hands free talking but I never use it for music. Can anyone help me with a final fix?

My son paired his phone to the car for music. When I drive without him, it would prompted me Bluetooth Device not found, but not sure if it was while the backup camera was on (I would think backup camera has priority). May be there is an Autoplay you can disable in the Bluetooth setup screen?

Edit: Maybe not: Prevent autoplay (bluetooth)? | PriusChat

What's weird is it happens so randomly, it isn't every time I get in the car. But it always takes over the backup camera with really aggravates me, it's dangerous when I'm in the process of backing out. I usually listen to the radio, not my iTunes, so I don't know why it keeps switching. And in the Bluetooth setup screen I keep disconnecting for music when it happens - which sometimes lasts for a while & other times it just doesn't seem to take. I'll check the setup screens again.

I know for a fact (hope so, lol) that pairing Bluetooth and pairing phone are two different things. My son paired his iphone Bluetooth for audio first to test when we just got the car. When we handed the car over to him, I had to make him pair his phone (same device). So from that, I think you can unpair the music but keep the phone. If not, may be the autoplay feature is in the phone set up menu, not the car's.

Have you tried unpairing and then repairing the phone? Beyond that, I'd contact Entune support about this: 800-331-4331 I know if I manually change something on screen after I put the car in reverse (but before I'm actually pulling out, of course :) ) the selected thing will override the backup camera. So it sounds like that's what's happening, except that in your case, the car is selecting things on its own. Not sure if it's the same on iphone, but on Android the "connect for audio/connect for internet, etc.) distinction doesn't always seem to work right, at least on some phones. Anyway, it sounds like your problems are pretty egregious since it's happening with only phone paired and especially since it's interfering with your backup camera - I'd definitely talk to Entune. They will probably suggest uninstalling / reinstalling Entune from your phone if you're using it, which will probably get you the updated Entune - which some people have reported problems with.
