Today: Fixed some internal upholstery issues:
    - the center console storage unit fabric was coming undone. Gorilla super glue fixed that real fast; looks nearly new
    - Rear of same storage unit came off (the part where the rear seat cup holders are stored) when my son decided to lean against it. Looks like whatever was keeping the piece in place probably broke off before I bought it. Pushed it back in, but I'll probably need to superglue that, too. But there's some electric wire inside with a connector, so I'm a little afraid to permanently close that off.
    - Using instructions here on PC, I turned off the annoying reverse beep! woot!

Still working on how to clean up the hazy headlights (been using baking soda, which worked a bit, but I'm cheap so I don't want to replace them or use expensive cleaners if I can avoid it).

Re: headlights, Harbor Freight sells a kit that you use with a drill for about $10. Does both headlights and takes about 20 min.

I covered the blue egg with a generic car cover. Supposed to get 16"-18" of snow, so I'll be using my truck. Now, I'm trying to figure out my sound deadening needs. I'll probably put up a "help me decide" post soon.

The tires are here and hopefully Tuesday I'll get the TPMS swapped over and tires mounted.

Sound deadening/dampening project completed. Michelin Defenders installed. Foam pipes attached to grill for my short, chilly commute to work tomorrow.

What did you sound dampen? Tell a big difference?

Big difference! My project wasn't to accommodate an upgraded sound system; it was only to reduce road noise and rattling and general cabin overtones. While I am still aware of the engine, there is more of a comfortable hush in the cabin.

Doors ( inner and outer ) and spare tire area.

Before I had my music on my phone playing through and the phone volume would be exactly in the middle between loud and off, and the sound system in the car needed to be at around 37 for me to hear the music. Today I tested the music, and the sound system in the car needed only to be at 27.

It wasn't just the sound deadening alone, but the new tires also helped lower noise levels.

    Big difference.
