    Wait.

    It's tax season.
Everybody has refund checks that they're trying to use as down money....and the G4 will be out probably in Dec.

if in NorCal, target Toyota dealership in Fairfield. build your Prius model on Truecar (ex. Prius TWO Blizzard Pearl) and configure w/ TFS 0% APR 60 mos. + 1500 cash (exp. 03/31). the OTD price should be much cheaper than that 23.9K quote.

I'll bet dealers are discounting liftbacks heavily. They are piling up at Fremont Toyota, probably 120 liftbacks laying around. It's a big dealer but there's only about 40 or 50 Corollas and Camrys. Those are selling well.

April issue of Consumers Reports magazine says now is a good time to buy a Prius or other hybrid. Good discounts and gasoline will increase. It is sure increasing in the Chicago suburb where I live. About $3.00 per gallon now.

    Congratulations on your purchase.

Yesterday my wife and I did exactly the same as you with regards to model and color choice. The price was $21,319 including $462 dealer documentary fee (but excluding AZ license and state sales tax). For options, the car has the chrome molding below the doors and the cargo/passenger interior mats, dealer window tinting, and a flashing center brake light which is supposed to increase safety regarding rear-end collisions.

The dealer, Precision Toyota in Tucson, characterizes the discounts as $3,500 dealer discount and $1,750 TMS USA rebate.

So, we are among the last to buy a new 3G Prius, but better late than never.

Wierd imbalance: I was at our dealership recently, saw one Prius c in the showroom. Just a quick glance around the lot I didn't see a single Prius. They seem to have dried up completely.

Updated my Photo, got the Blizzard Pearl Toyota SF $23,700 out of the door at Zero interest rate I put $2,000 even tho it is zero interest lol. $361.67 monthly for 60 months. Eve tho I got the zero APR they still gave me the $1,500 rebate which should only be $1,000 thanks to Tani, if you are in bay area try to get it @ toyota SF at this price, I called all the dealership in bay area they thought I am making this price up hoping for them to beat it but they don't believe the price.

We ended up being able to get it for around $20,200 (plus tax, tag, title). Our dealership had about 25 Prius. 15 of those were Prius Two's, which is what we got. We love it.

Glad we went with Gen 3, since I would not want to have the first Gen 4 model (wait until the kinks get worked out).

Thanks - well, I first need to strengthen my knowledge of G3 before I would presume to offer advice in the G3 forums...
