How to not lose the ice record

    Most (not all) continental ice is being degraded. According to Otzi and his contemporaries, faster than it has been for several thousands of years.

    Lots of ice has been cored, studied, and archived for future work. According to this link:

    Facilities and funds are lacking for at least some of the ice cores. I did not know that. If various governments cannot be bothered (already throwing too much money at earth science research or whatever), perhaps an 'Anonymous Donor' could step forward?
