Yes, the consensus is at 30k miles and 60k afterwards. So your 60k would be good.

It takes about 3.5 - 3.75 quarts. There is a drain plug and a fill plug. Fill it until it runs out of fill plug with car level. Be sure you can remove fill plug before removing drain plug. Also get new plug washers to replace.

Drain and fill bolts are the same, torque 29 ft/lb. You need a 10mm size hex drive for them:

(I like Honda's transmission drain bolt better, it's a similar socket-head-cap-screw bolt, but with a 3/8" square bolt. All you've got to do is attach a 3/8" drive to it.)

I believe the recommendation from PC, from what I've read anyway, would be to NOT spend the extra $ on what they call a "flush". Just drain and refill should do it.

Really no automatic fluid change warrants a flush, even a traditional automatic, where only 50~60 % of the fluid will drain, as long as you do periodic changes. The only exception would be if you did something bad, like accidentally poured engine oil into it. Then, to get it out, you do a "flush", basically changing the fluid, driving it around the block, repeat maybe 3 times.

All sorts of expendables if you have the tools and the know-how. There are maintenance manuals (I've had trouble so far tracking down a Haynes manual for my Gen III) and even You Tube videos for fixing this and that. A short list would be the engine and cabin air filters, the spark plugs, engine oil and filter, transmission (PSD) oil, light bulbs (except brake light LED's), brake pads, and fuses. A short list.

When I changed the transaxle fluid last year on my v at 13k, I discovered that the Gen III eliminated the little ceramic magnet on the drain plug.

So, I milled out a drain plug and affixed a 15 pound pull neodymium magnet to it.

To see if it did any good, I removed the magnetic plug to find that there was already iron or steel particles attached to the magnet. I had half a quart of ws fluid left from the 4 quarts to refill what I lost in switching plugs.

I have uploaded photos of the Gen II plug removed after many miles and my plug.

In the US schedule it says coolant change at 100,000 miles or 10 years.
