    Hello PC,

I wanted to give you, our fans, a heads-up before the official news goes out in a couple days. We will be announcing that the 4th-Gen Prius will be delayed another ~9 months. I know the wait is almost unbearable, so I'm sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news. Be assured our engineers are working as hard as they can.

In the meantime, to take the sting out of this a little bit, we will be introducing a new Persona Edition. Our inspiration for the series has been this upfit kit from Stance Nation. Should be a fantastic ride, and we think it really fits what you have all been asking for from the next Persona Edition. Details and pricing to come soon. Hope you enjoy!

Steering wheel on the wrong side ... again!

Worse, the collapsed walker inside barely fits.

With the camber of those wheels, I'd say it got hit in a sensitive area.

"NG" - Natural Gas? After the FCV announcements, a NG Prius would make a lot of sense.

All seriousness aside, do the next Prius right. We've got 165,000 miles on the 03 Prius and still getting 52 MPG. The last serious maintenance was the owner failed to tighten the lug nuts on one wheel but got it to a shop before it became a three-wheeler. Two lug nuts missing, a third finger-tight, and one holding the wheel on.

As for the 2010 Prius, it has about 62,000 miles and running like a top. It ain't broke so we're patient.

not bad news doug. It's good news. I'm sure it's because Toyota realizes how far they are falling behind on their planned plugin range - & now realize (after GM's announcement) they need to put something other than the existing standard/minimal traction pack in it. No longer will PiP owners have to sigh, thinking how they only have 1/4 the range of their plugin competition.
Doug, you just can't keep a secret.

Flip the image horizontally and try to figure out what it says on the body aft of the headlight.

Those side mirrors are way too large! And that grille???? Not nearly wide or open enough for me. Perhaps an easy-to-clean blackened honeycomb structure placed in there? Maybe if it was as wide as the entire front, then... maybe. Again - you've lost me on this version.

Same thing as it says on the garage door. It's the name of the shop that turns whatever ride you have into a pimp-mobile.

Two weeks ago Prius Team posts here"We're looking at 4th Gen at headquarters, wow, just wow".
Yesterday it's"Sorry but another 9 month delay".

So, where is the humor in this?

And the mods here seem to be buying it or going along with April Fools prank.

it is. You could put a Pontiac Aztec or Nissan Leaf body on it instead.
