windshield wipers

    I admit that I'm lazy this afternoon and don't want to search.
    Is there any consensus as to what are the best windshield wipers?
    2009 Prius here.
    I live in sunny southern California.
    And my original ones (I think) are "streaking" at about 46K miles.

    Try "beam style" wipers. I started using them a year ago and I will not go back to standards.
    Rockauto.com has great prices on wipers, on order of 3-4 dollars for regular ones, and 5-6 dollars for beam style.

    Rain-X Latitude - best I've ever found (for my old Corolla Wagon and for my current Toyota (2009 Gen II Prius)) - plus use the 0000 steel-wool then Rain-X magic liquid treatment (see youtube (& threads passim)) - see pics in my ChuggyPig album for results!
