Energy Saver A/S Tires - finally !

    Very nice. How long did your set of Primacy MXV4 last you?

    I gave up on the LRR tires and switched to the Michelin Premier A/S myself. Surprisingly enough, out of the box, the MPG was equal to my nearly worn-out set of Primacy MXM4. Go figure...

    I was able to get 62,000 miles with a 60,000 mile warranty.

    I just put a set of Premier A/S on my wife's Honda Accord. I will have to watch the mpg on these. My wife really likes the feel and handling of the new tires.

    After five fill ups and about 2000 miles my average calculated mpg has jumped from 47 with the MXV4's to 50.4 with the ES A/S. I am really enjoying these tires.

    This has also been during the mild temperatures of spring so I know part of the increase is due to temps. Now that the temps are rising and I will be running the AC more, it will be interesting to see what impact this will have on mpg.

    Should add that my experience is that when approaching the limit of adhesion while cornering, my set of Michelin Energy Saver nice person howled noticeably before they broke loose, which I feel is a VERY desirable characteristic in a tire.
