2013 Three is what I'm needing these floor mats for. I went all thru the weathertech thread but it's a disaster and I'm more confused.

I think Id rather go with the digital fit ones but I hope someone can steer me either way.

The plan is to get a set of 4 with the cargo one on the list for later. I'm not a fan of waiting 2-3 weeks for delivery either. I called Toyota and asked for mats and they can have them in a few days for $179 but I don't know if that's digi fit or the all-weather.

Thanks for any and all advice!

I had the toyota all weather mats in my last prius. Don't get them....when there are other ones that are so much better is what I say. (In essence the oem ones don't cover enough real estate to really be effective)....

I'd say it come down to weather tech or Husky liner floor mats.

They both have a solid background. It seems husky is a Little cheaper and works just as good as the weather techs is what I have gathered by way of reading up on the topic.....

If you insist on the oem mats they do kinda work but only really cover half of your floor area it seems. FYI.

I have the Weathertech floor liners, and have been very happy with them.

    I should add..........

If the dealership throws the oem ones in on the deal then heck they are good enough unless you are real picky.

That's what happened to me, I had them thrown in on my deal and lived with them as they are better than the carpet mats.

Let me preface these statements by saying they are just my experience and my opinion.

But I bought the weathertech digital fit liners for my Prius. The gray color.

    Pros:

    They fit great.
    When clean they look great.

    Cons:
    Very difficult to keep clean.
Shows every scuff, and all dirt as it accumulates.
    Can be scratched and scuffed..permanently.

    My opinion?

As they age, they become scratched and show even more dirt.

To be honest? While I can't say they don't do everything they are advertised to do? If I was starting from scratch I don't think I would buy them again.

And I really think it comes down to them technically being vinyl or plastic like liners and not really "mats". The material they are made of absolutely show every bit of dirt.

In other vehicles I've owned the more traditional rubber like mats...and they seemed to absorb a certain amount of dirt without showing. The rubber also seemed more resistant to "scratches" and scuffs.

Are the husky ones only available online or are they also thru retail and/or dealers?

I bought this vehicle used at an already discounted price so there was no haggling or adding of goodies. I currently have the weathertechs from my crashed Honda in the backseat so my son doesn't destroy the floors while I decide which route to go.

Seems like Husky has decent reviews but we have used WT a few times in the past so I know they wear out after a while.

    Maybe husky is more durable?

The material that husky use for their mats is flimsy, not like the OEM rubber.
The Husky floor mats do cover a very good part of the floor, especially the drivers side and this is the protection I was looking for.
Snow, dirt, grit, filth does show a lot more that over the rubber but a good cleaning will restore it as new. I have and use both in different weather seasons.

After today the interior of my car looks like salt brine was sprayed into the darn thing! Thanks Kids…lol:)

But the nice thing about Softex is I can just wipe it right off..

I really do need some type of all weather mats though, I am just using the carpet mats and might trash them in the spring if they are too bad after this winter.

So the Toyota OEM all weather mats are better than Weathertech's?

    Nick,

The OEM rubber mats are basically the same size as the standard mats. They don't have a raised perimeter ridge to catch spills, etc., like some of the WeatherTechs and Huskies, depending on which model you buy. So if you are concerned about snow and rain water from your shoes, the OEMS might disappoint. I have the OEMS, but I live in Phoenix where water is not a serious concern. The OEMS are heavy, but I've never seen the others, so that's relative. I only use the rubber mats when we travel because I'm not able to clean as often as I'd like and I don't have control over the weather when we need fuel, etc. I think one advantage to the OEM cargo mat is that it's a 2-piece design. I don't have to remove the entire mat or remove all items from the cargo area in order to access the lower cargo bin. I don't know if the others are al 1-piece designs.

I've got weather tech liners. Had them on my last car, too. They're good.

Yeah. I'll run outside and take one. It's dark out so hopefully it'll be ok.

I have the Weathertech rubber mats front and rear and they work great. Bought the Weathertech cleaner and protector, also very good. Cargo mat is superb. I almost bought the digital fitted ones, but for water and snow, these worker better for me. The OEM ones seemed to leak a bit on the sides, which led to salt stains.

I should mention that if I had to do it over again, I think I'd opt for the WeatherTech, though I still like the 2-piece OEM for the cargo area.
