    Greetings from a new member,
I have a 2012 Prius with the OEM five-spoke wheel cover (which covers the black wheel behind). My teenage son started driving it to school in the past month. Accident does happen - he clipped the curb last Friday and the wheel cover came off due to moving impact. Luckily, we were able to retrieve the wheel cover.
I tried reinstalling it but it appears it is not a simple "snap on". Looking at it, there are many clips but I cannot figure out how to put it back on.

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated (especially by my son).

Take the other hub caps off and order center caps from amazon.com for $25. Looks better without hubcaps. Yours is probably bent up from getting knocked off. You may have to buy a new one. I like the look with out hubcaps.

OMGosh, thanks so much for posting that video. When I first got our Prius, I thought about taking the wheel covers off. I started to use a large-blade screwdriver, but noticed how the plastic flexed and thought I would crack them. I didn't expect a problem putting them back on, but I can't believe how easy they come off just by pulling as shown in the video. Unfortunately, I don't like the look of the "black" wheels underneath against the Blizzard Pearl white, so I'm leaving the covers on until I need new tires and get new wheels.

Thanks everyone - very helpful! My wheel cover was bent (the clips) when it was knocked off from impact, as one of the members surmised above. So I will have to go buy one from Amazon/ Ebay. Oh well - I hope my son learns his lesson.
